Your paperwork and your details
Privacy policy
Effective 18 October 2026
Lambert Software operates Easy Paper Scan and this website. Email support@easypaperscan.com or use our support and privacy form to ask about your information, request deletion or withdraw launch-email consent. Please do not send private paperwork, passwords or purchase tokens.
This website and its forms
The launch-interest form collects your name, email address, trade, message and your explicit permission to email you about the Easy Paper Scan launch. We use those details for that purpose, with your consent. The support and privacy form collects your name, email address and message so we can handle your enquiry. Sending a support request does not sign you up for launch emails.
Both forms send your details over HTTPS to this website's Cloudflare-hosted service. Submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1 with a 90-day expiry, then removed by hourly scheduled or submission-time cleanup. No confirmation or marketing email is sent automatically by this service. A success message means the request was saved, not that an email was delivered.
To limit abusive submissions, the service keeps request counters against a rotating daily hash derived from the network IP address. The raw IP address is not stored in our submission records. These counters expire after 24 hours and are removed during cleanup. A hash can still be personal information. Cloudflare also processes network and security information to deliver and protect the website under its privacy policy; our database retention does not control Cloudflare's own records.
This website uses no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, external fonts, application cookies or browser-storage features. Its forms accept text only and do not upload customer papers, images or PDFs. Please include only the information needed for your enquiry.
You can request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, or withdraw launch-email consent, using the support and privacy form. Include the email address used for the original request so we can find it; we may need to check that the request is yours. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Support email
Sending email to support@easypaperscan.com is optional. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards it to our Gmail/Google mail provider so Lambert Software can handle your enquiry. These providers process the sender address, email headers, message content and any attachments you choose to send under their Cloudflare and Google privacy policies. Please send only the details needed for support.
Email is separate from the website forms and their 90-day database expiry. Support messages remain in the support mailbox until deleted; provider logs and backups follow the providers' retention practices. You can request deletion using the support address or form. Sending a support email does not give consent for launch emails, and the website form still does not send automatic notifications.
The upcoming Android app
The Android app is not yet publicly released on Google Play. The sections below explain the app's local paperwork features and how Google services are involved. This website form is separate from the app's encrypted phone library.
Paperwork processed on your phone
Easy Paper Scan processes the photos and PDFs you scan, select or share into it. Paperwork may contain customer/supplier details, financial figures, addresses, signatures and other personal information. You can also save names, job folders, tags, notes, corrected text, company details and a logo.
Document rendering, printed-text recognition and the bundled assisted English handwriting recognizer run on your device. The app's recognition and subscription request do not upload your page images, read text, company profile or customer records to Lambert Software. Handwriting can miss or misread information; keep checking the retained page.
Saved library records and company details are encrypted on the device. Optional app locking uses Android authentication. The app receives an authentication result, not your biometric templates.
Temporary files, exports and sharing
Imports, scanning, previews and outgoing shares can create private temporary files outside the encrypted library. Cleanup runs when workflows finish where practical. Pending incoming shares and staged outgoing PDFs expire after 24 hours and are pruned when their cleanup runs; Android can remove cache earlier. This is not a guarantee of erasure exactly at 24 hours.
You choose the export folder or recipient through Android. That provider or app handles the copy you send. Exported PDFs, photos and CSV reports can be readable without the library's encryption. Optional PDF password protection and password-protected portable backups are available. Deleting a paper in the app does not delete copies already exported, backed up or received elsewhere.
Google scanning and diagnostic information
The scanner uses Google Play services and may download components or models. Google receives ML Kit device/app information, installation identifiers and diagnostic/usage information, including processing timings, configuration/sizes, feature-use events and errors. Google uses these metrics for analytics, maintaining and improving its APIs, and detecting misuse or abuse. Its ML Kit disclosure documents HTTPS for that SDK traffic. Processing pages locally does not mean no information leaves the device.
See Google's ML Kit disclosure and Google's privacy policy. The bundled handwriting recognizer has no hosted handwriting service. The app does not use an advertising SDK.
Free pages and subscriptions
The invitation-only closed test will provide clearly labelled temporary full access without charges, with purchases disabled. Test access is a build setting, not a paid subscription or a setting restored from document backups. Pages created during that test do not spend the installation's free-page balance. Saved test papers remain available after a later production update; future new pages then follow the production access rules.
The app keeps a local record of the ten one-time free new pages on this installation. It does not verify a lifetime allowance across people or devices. Deleting papers does not refill it, and portable document backups do not restore paid proof or page allowance.
Subscriptions are not available yet. When enabled, Google Play will handle the optional purchase; Easy Paper Scan will not receive payment-card details. Subscription verification uses the Android package, subscription product, annual base-plan ID and Play purchase token over HTTPS, without paperwork. A purchase token identifies a purchase, and a hash of it is not anonymous. We will update this notice with the verification service's storage and retention details before enabling purchases.
When billing is enabled, purchase proofs, entitlement status/dates, acknowledgement retry information and a clock record are held in authenticated encrypted settings, excluded from portable backups. Offline paid creation ends at the earliest of subscription expiry, the verified offline limit or 72 hours after verification. Saved papers remain accessible when new-page access ends.
Retention and deletion
Saved papers remain until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall. Reusable company details can be cleared in the app. Keep backups you need before removing data. Exported files and backups elsewhere must be removed separately; recipients may keep their own copies. Cancelling a Google Play subscription and clearing app data are separate actions.
Android, Google and chosen providers handle their own service, diagnostic and transaction records under their policies. The app has no separate Easy Paper Scan account-creation feature. Website enquiries follow the separate 90-day retention described above.
Contact and policy changes
